Avalanche Card is a crypto-backed Visa card that allows you to seamlessly spend your USDC and AVAX anywhere Visa is accepted. When you make a purchase, the merchant gets paid just like a traditional credit card.

To use your Avalanche Card, you must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification: Once you have logged in to your account you will be asked to provide a few items:

• Full legal name
• Email
• Date of Birth
• SSN/National ID Number
• Valid government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID)
• Selfie to check to confirm your identity
  

Once submitted, your verification will be reviewed. If approved, you can start using your Avalanche Card right away.

• Check for errors – Ensure your submitted documents are clear and valid.
• Retake your selfie – Make sure there is good lighting and no obstructions.
• Contact support – If you believe it’s a mistake, reach out to support for help.

In most cases, applications are automatically approved. However, if we’re unable to verify your information or need additional details, your account may require a manual review. If this happens, our team will reach out via email with the next steps. If you haven’t received an update within 72 hours, or if you’d like to check your status, please contact our support team, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Once your card is approved and shipped, delivery times vary by location. Most users receive their card within 14 to 30+ business days.

Your Avalanche Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted—both online and in-person. Use it for everyday purchases worldwide.

To sign up for the Avalanche Card, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a legal resident of a country and region we support
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid phone number
• Provide valid identification, such as: Driver’s license or passport, Social Security Number (SSN)/National ID Number

**We do not accept expired IDs

**P.O. Boxes and mail forwarding addresses are not supported

• Complete KYC verification to access all features

KYC verification typically takes a few seconds. In some cases, it may take up to 72 hours if additional verification is needed. If your verification is delayed for more than 72 hours, please contact support.

Identity verification is required to comply with financial regulations and prevent fraud. It ensures: security, compliance, and fraud prevention. We take privacy seriously—your data is encrypted.

Avalanche Card is currently available in many U.S. states, Latin America, and the Caribbean. However, residents of the following countries and regions are not eligible to sign up:

• Cannot issue to residents of the following countries: Belarus, Cuba, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Mainland China, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Korea, Russia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam
• Cannot issue to the residents of the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin

Activating your Avalanche Card is quick and easy!

1. Open the Avalanche Card app.
2. Tap on the "Tap here to activate card" button on the card icon.
3. Once activated, you can add your virtual card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and start using it immediately.

Avalanche Card keeps fees low to make your transactions seamless:

• Monthly Account Fee: $0
• Virtual Card Issuance: $0
• Physical Card: $0
• Card Shipping: $0

You can request up to 3 virtual cards and 1 physical card per account. Only one virtual card and one physical card can be active at a time.
