Activating your card is quick and easy:

1. Open the Avalanche Card app.
2. Tap the "Tap here to activate card" button on the card icon.
3. Once activated, add your virtual card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and start using it immediately.

Use code FRONTIER when you sign up in the Avalanche Card app. It unlocks the special-edition cowboy card art for your virtual and physical card. You can enter it during account creation, right after you add your phone number.

4. Complete KYC verification to access all features

Avalanche Card is currently available in many U.S. states, Latin America, and the Caribbean. However, residents of the following countries and regions are not eligible to sign up:

• Cannot issue to residents of the following countries: Belarus, Cuba, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Mainland China, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, North Korea, Russia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam
• Cannot issue to the residents of the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.

To sign up you must:

• Be a legal resident of a country and region we support
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid phone number
• Provide valid identification (driver's license or passport, plus an SSN / National ID number)

**P.O. Boxes and mail-forwarding addresses are not supported.

• Retake your selfie — make sure there's good lighting and no obstructions.

In most cases, applications are automatically approved. However, if we're unable to verify your information or need additional details, your account may require a manual review. If this happens, our team will reach out via email with next steps. If you haven't heard back within 72 hours, or want to check your status, contact our support team and we'll be happy to help.

Your Avalanche Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted — both online and in person. Use it for everyday purchases worldwide.

KYC verification typically takes a few seconds. In some cases it may take up to 72 hours if additional verification is needed. If your verification is delayed for more than 72 hours, please contact support.

To use your card, you must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. Once you've logged in, you'll be asked to provide a few items:

• Full legal name
• Email
• Date of birth
• SSN / National ID number
• Valid government-issued ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID)
• A selfie to confirm your identity

Once submitted, your verification is reviewed. If approved, you can start using your card right away.

This special edition of the Avalanche Card was designed for the State of Wyoming's Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). The stable token backed Visa card lets you spend FRNT anywhere Visa is accepted. When you make a purchase, the merchant gets paid just like a traditional card.
